First Communion

Instruction is given in the fifth grade. The class bakes the communion bread for the following Sunday. However, the young people who are at worship Sunday after Sunday, and who have been brought to the altar with their parents are encouraged to and instructed for Communion upon their request as the parents and pastor determine their readiness. Communion is a believer's Sacrament (for one who has been baptized).
